About Hind Terminals
Hind Terminals Private Limited (HTPL) began its commercial operations in December 2005, primarily at the Nhava Sheva (JNPT) port. Over the years, the company expanded its operations. They now manage multiple Container Freight Stations (CFSs) at Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Hazira, and Chennai. They also operate Multi-Modal Rail Linked Logistics Parks at Palwal near Delhi and Kila Raipur near Ludhiana. In addition, they have a rail-linked facility at Dhanakya near Jaipur. These logistics hubs, along with their presence across major Indian ports, enable the company to offer comprehensive logistics and transportation solutions to clients.
The company is also one of the few private players awarded a pan-India license for container train operations. They began rail services in April 2007. Their rail network, supported by first-mile and last-mile road connectivity, ensures seamless and efficient transportation from and to customers’ doorsteps. By combining road and rail networks, They guarantee quicker, more reliable cargo movement.

- Container Freight Stations (CFS): They operate CFSs at key Indian ports such as Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Hazira, and Chennai. These stations handle the receipt, storage, and distribution of containers, ensuring smooth transitions between sea and land transport.
- Road Transportation: Through Hind Carriers Private Limited (HCPL), Companyoffers extensive road transportation services. This includes EXIM-laden and empty container transport, full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) cargo movement, as well as handling over-dimensional cargo (ODC). HCPL operates a fleet of over 800 trailers, supplemented by partnerships with transporters for an additional 500+ leased vehicles. They also offer first-mile and last-mile connectivity services.
- Container Rail Transportation: They operate its own fleet of 31 container rakes, connecting major business hubs in India with Western Gateway Ports. This service supports both long-haul transportation and smaller capacity vehicles for local distribution. Customers can easily track the status of their containers in real time via rail tracking.
- Warehousing Services: Company operates over 1 million square feet of warehousing space across India. Their warehousing solutions include general, temperature-controlled, hazardous/IMDG-compliant, and custom-bonded facilities. Their warehousing services are fully integrated with transportation, CFS, and distribution solutions, offering customers a one-stop logistics platform. Facilities are equipped with advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), CCTV surveillance, and real-time GPS tracking for all transport fleets.
- Additional Services: HTPL offers a range of value-added services such as processing, grading, sorting, packing, unpacking, and labeling. This enhances customers’ logistics experience, allowing for greater customization in cargo handling.
